“…As part of another initiative, the well-known research group led by Y. Wang devised a strategy to fabricate zero-dimensional lead-free SC-based X-ray radiation detector. 194 For this purpose, they prepared a black bulk SC with (DPA) 2 BiI 9 (DPA = 1,5-diaminopentane) by means of a solvothermal reaction of hydrogen peroxide DMP and Bi 2 O 3 . The (DPA) 2 BiI 9 SC displayed resistivity of 5 × 10 10 Ω cm, which is meaningfully greater than the necessity for a commercial X-ray detector (10 9 Ω cm), and even larger than that of a CZT detector (10 10 Ω cm).…”

“…27 Recently, materials within the A 3 Bi 2 X 9 family have gained considerable attention and gradually become one of the most significant focuses of researchers in the optoelectronic fields of X-ray detection and blue lightemitting quantum dots. [28][29][30][31][32][33][34] Compared with their 3D analogues, A 3 Bi 2 X 9 low-dimensional perovskites usually exhibit large resistivity (10 10 -10 12 Ω cm), higher ionic activation energy (460-1032 meV), and suppressed ion migration. [35][36][37][38][39] These features bring the materials an extremely low dark current, large signal-to-noise ratios and enhanced sensitivity when used as X-ray detectors, especially for applications in medical imaging diagnosis.…”
