Abstract: IntroductionSeizures are common in hospitals, both as presentations to Emergency Departments (ED) and as hospital onset seizures (HOS), occurring in ward patients hospitalised for non-seizure reasons. Prompt identification of seizure aetiology is important, as it affects prognosis and management choices.
