Abstract:Pemphigus is an autoimmune bullous disease characterized by loss of adhesion caused by autoantibodies (PVIgG) against keratinocyte antigens, desmogleins (Dsg1 and Dsg3) and non-Dsg proteins, such as acetylcholine receptors (AChR) or Desmocollin (Dsc3).
