0.90(0.88NaNbO3-0.12Bi(Ni0.5Zr0.5)O3)-0.10CaTiO3 Lead-Free Dielectric Ceramics with High Energy Storage Properties

Abstract: Sodium niobate energy storage ceramics are widely concerned by many researchers due to their characteristics of antiferroelectricity, high polarization strength, relative breakdown resistance, light weight, and wide operating temperature range. In the present work, CaTiO 3 was added to NN-BNZ to form a solid solution, which optimizes the energy storage performances of ceramics. By introducing a linear energy storage material CaTiO 3 , the energy storage characteristics of NN-BNZ ceramics were significantly imp… Show more

“…In addition, the activation energy (E a ) value could be determined using the Vogel−Fulcher (V−F) model, which relates to the temperature-dependent dielectric properties through the equation f = f 0 exp(−E a /k B (T m −T f ). 35 The correlation (R 2 > 0.99) indicates the good reliability of the nonlinear fit (Figure S3). The E a values of BBNT-xBLTT ceramics linearly increase from 0.1905 eV of x = 0.05 to 0.2638 eV of x = 0.20.…”

“…The higher slope value means saturation tendency much more slowly of P max with increasing applied electric field, indicative of their simultaneously possessed high Δ P and E b . In addition, the activation energy ( E a ) value could be determined using the Vogel–Fulcher (V–F) model, which relates to the temperature-dependent dielectric properties through the equation f = f 0 exp(− E a / k B ( T m – T f ) .
