Getting Started with your organization license

Getting Access

For organization-wide access to scite Premium, please fill out our registration form.
We will request a meeting with you before we set up the trial.

Confirming Access

Once authentication is set up you can confirm the licenses are working for you depending on your authentication method.

  • IP / VPN / EZProxy: You should be able to use our reports and searches without seeing any paywalls. For features with emails, login or sign up while on the IPs to check you can use them.
  • Email Authentication / SSO Once signed in, you should be able to use all features without seeing any paywalls.
In order for a user to confirm they are on the correct license they should visit https://scite.ai/users/me/subscription, you should see your organizations name with a premium plan.

If you have a customer link resolver for full-text access set up you'd like us to implement please email us at support@scite.ai.

Note on access

Features that require login to work: Visualizations, Dashboards, Reference Check, Journals, Saved Searches, Notifications, Feed, and other features requiring emails.
Features that will work without being logged in: Reports and Search

Getting Started Guides and Training

The following videos and tutorials give an overview of scite's core features.

  1. scite browser extension:  Verify information online or explore the supporting and contrasting information on a topic using the scite browser extension
  2. Citation statement search:  Tie content to context.  See the sentence(s) where the keywords or phrases are cited.
  3. Custom dashboard:  View trends on a specific topic/field and identify.  Further analyze research using smart citations.  Which articles have the most supporting/contrasting citations?
  4. Reference check:  Analyze the references cited within an article or PDF file.  Are there any retractions for a citation?  What are the citation metrics for the references?  Check the references that you’re citing within a paper or article.
  5. Researcher profiles:  Look at smart citations from the perspective of a single individual. e.g. papers published, how they cite and how they have been cited
  6. scite visualizations:  Thinking citation map with colored lines indicating supporting, contrasting, and mentioning citations
  7. scite plug-in for Zotero:  See supporting, disputing, or mentioning citations for resources you’ve added to Zotero.
