scite Recruits Rogier van Erkel as Chief Revenue Officer

Rogier brings significant experience leading sales in academia and corporate markets.

Brooklyn, NY - November 15, 2022 - scite, ​​an award-winning startup that helps students and researchers discover and understand research findings more efficiently through Smart Citations, has recruited Rogier van Erkel as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).

Van Erkel brings significant sales leadership experience in academia and corporate markets. Previously, Van Erkel served as CRO at Research Solutions, where he established and led sales in corporate markets and grew recurring revenue exponentially year over year. Before that, he served as a sales director at Elsevier for twelve years. He continues to support sales to startups and small and mid-sized companies through various universities and accelerators in the Netherlands.
