Composite microspheres of TKX‐55 and fluororubber were prepared by microfluidic method. The binding energy and mechanical properties were calculated by Materials studio, F2604 was determined as the binder. The particle size of the composite microspheres is between 100 and 200 μm, the bulk density, impact sensitivity and theoretical detonation velocity have made considerable progress. The combustion performance of the composite was characterized. It was found that the addition of fluororubber could inhibit the combustion of TKX‐55 and improve the safety of the composite. TKX‐55 has the potential to be used as the main explosive component of the new heat‐resistant PBX.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
