To understand the performance of laser ranging system under the rain weather condition, we need to know the propagating characteristics of laser pulse in rain. In this paper, the absorption and attenuation coefficients were calculated based on the scattering theories in discrete stochastic media, and the propagating characteristics of laser pulse in rain were simulated and analyzed using Monte-Carlo method. Some simulation results were verified by experiments, and the simulation results are well matched with the experimental data, with the maximal deviation not less than 7.5%. The results indicated that the propagating laser beam would be attenuated and distorted due to the scattering and absorption of raindrops, and the energy attenuation and pulse shape distortion strongly depended on the laser pulse widths.
An iodine-promoted one-pot cascade
oxidative annulation reaction
has been developed for the synthesis of chromone-fused-pyrrolo[2,1-a]isoquinolines and indolizino[8,7-b]indoles
from o-acetylphenoxyacrylates, tetrahydroisoquinolines,
and noreleagnines. This process underwent a logical approach to both
chromone-fused-pyrrolo[2,1-a]isoquinolines and chromone-fused-indolizino[8,7-b]indoles isolamellarin derivatives. Manipulations of l-menthol and dl-α-tocopherol demonstrate the
applications of this strategy.
Laser radar echo signals are easily contaminated by noise, such as background light and electronic noise, and this noise is an obstacle for the subsequent signal detection. However, the conventional denoising methods cannot achieve satisfactory effects when the signal-to-noise-ratio (SNR) is ultralow. In this paper, a novel denoising method for laser radar echo signals based on the parameter-optimal variational mode decomposition (VMD) combined with the Hausdorff distance (HD) and wavelet transform (WT) is proposed. Compared with conventional VMD-based methods, the proposed method utilizes a newly developed grasshopper optimization algorithm (GOA) to obtain the optimal combination of parameters for the VMD. Then, the HD is applied to select the relevant modes and then uses the basis function to reconstruct the signal. In addition, the relevant modes are further processed by the WT denoising method, which allows the reconstructed signal to obtain a higher SNR. The simulation and experimental results show the feasibility, effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method compared to three other available denoising techniques. The proposed method could promote the distance measurement performance of laser radars in harsh environments.INDEX TERMS Laser radar echo signal denoising, variational mode decomposition, Hausdorff distance, wavelet transform, grasshopper optimization algorithm.
An efficient method for the synthesis
of new indolizine-fused chromones
has been accomplished from ethyl (E)-3-(2-acetylphenoxy)acrylates
and pyridines in a “one-pot” manner. Facile operation
in open-air, metal-free, and mild conditions renders this protocol
particularly practical and attractive. Moreover, this method can simultaneously
construct two molecular fragments of chromone and indolizine. Scale-up
experiment and the construction of natural products further prove
the practicability of this strategy.
