A scalable and efficient electrocatalytic dehydrogenative esterification is reported. With an indirect electrolysis strategy, both intra- and intermolecular-type reactions were amenable to this practical method. With n-BuNI as the catalyst, undesired decarboxylation and Baeyer-Villiger oxidation were suppressed. More importantly, this novel method provided reliable and direct access to the natural product cytosporanone A on a gram scale.
Developing high-performance bifunctional electrocatalysts for both the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) is a significant challenge for the implementation of rechargeable Zn-air batteries. Herein, MnO2 nanotubes...
Herein, we designed a NiCo2S4@N/S-CeO2 composite with amplified electrocatalytic oxygen reduction (ORR) capability by in-situ growth of NiCo2S4 nanoparticles on CeO2 nanospheres with simultaneous doping of nitrogen and sulfur. After...
Herein, we report a multifunctional device which integrated energy-desalination-smart electrochromic display into one single cell. Specifically, a new concept of chemical assisted electrochromic desalination battery was demonstrated using prussian blue...
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
