A demanda por livros didáticos para Ensino de Astronomia tem crescido nos últimos anos, em grande parte pela necessidade da inclusão de conteúdos de Astronomia no Ensino Fundamental e Médio. O desafio de escrever livros que abordem tópicos de Astronomia acessíveis aos alunos desses níveis é imenso, e requer um profundo conhecimento do tema, dos conteúdos ministrados em sala de aula e da capacidade de conexão entre aspectos técnicos, conceituais e didáticos.
As redes de Data Center, que precisam atender de forma dinâmica uma grande quantidade de fluxos com diferentes requisitos de serviço, necessitam de mecanismos de balanceamento de carga. Entretanto, as abordagens tradicionais de balanceamento de carga não permitem a completa utilização dos recursos de rede de forma simples, programável e escalável. Nesse contexto, este artigo propõe RDNA Balance que explora a balanceamento por isolamento de fluxos elefante e roteamento na origem, com suporte no núcleo da rede, e operações de classificação realizadas na borda usando recursos existentes no protocolo OpenFlow. Os resultados mostram que essa abordagem é capaz de prover um balanceamento de carga simples, escalável, e programável.
Provedores de rede precisam oferecer uma grande variedade de serviços a seus clientes. A virtualização de funções de rede e redes definidas por software facilitam a implementação desses serviços por meio da virtualização e do encadeamento de funções de rede. Entretanto, há casos em que essas funções encontram-se em \textit{data centers} distantes geograficamente ou em nuvens em domínios diferentes. Por outro lado há poucos trabalhos na literatura que focam nos mecanismos para implementação do encadeamento de funções de rede em múltiplas nuvens. Neste contexto, este trabalho apresenta uma solução para o encadeamento de funções de rede em múltiplas nuvens. O artigo destaca o roteamento na origem, baseado no KeySFC, como facilitador da solução proposta e apresentando diversas vantagens quanto ao gerenciamento dos fluxos e à manutenção dos estados nos dispositivos de rede. Um protótipo é implementado e avaliado, com o objetivo de se realizar uma avaliação funcional da proposta em cenários de encadeamento em múltiplas nuvens.
