Em contextos emergentes, como o brasileiro, atores sociais em condição de vulnerabilidade financeira ou social desempenham um papel fundamental na promoção da Economia Circular, participando da coleta, separação, correta destinação, transformação, valorização e manutenção de matérias-primas em ciclos contínuos de uso, reduzindo, assim, a pressão da extração os recursos naturais virgens e seus processos de transformação. Todavia, em suas linhas guias, a Economia Circular não traz orientações para o design sistêmico de relações circulares que envolvam estes atores como agentes promotores do desenvolvimento sustentável. Com a finalidade de contribuir para mitigar este gap, o presente artigo trata da potência desta inclusão a partir da análise de cinco exemplos da realidade brasileira, de ações espontâneas e organizadas na inclusão e no desenvolvimento social da população excluída e marginalizada nos sistemas de Economia Circular.
Resumo: Este artigo apresenta os resultados parciais de pesquisa realizada para compor dissertação entregue para obtenção do Título de Mestre em Design. Trata das incongruências entre os móveis populares ofertados pelo mercado brasileiro e as necessidades da população de baixa renda, particularmente as que dizem respeito às demandas das atividades de montagens e desmontagens destes produtos durante seu ciclo de vida. Apresenta, também, exemplos de danos causados por falhas durante estes processos e propõe a inserção de mecanismos à prova de erros, denominados Poka-Yoke, como solução para reduzi-los, como forma de garantir a completude da vida útil deste produtos e, desta forma, contribuir para a Sustentabilidade nos três pilares -ambiental, econômico e social. Palavras-chave: design, sustentabilidade, mobiliário polupar, interesse social, poka-yoke. INTRODUÇÃOO mercado brasileiro de móveis populares está em franca ascensão. Segundo pesquisa realizada pela FEA/USP -Faculdade de Economia, Administração e Contabilidade, as empresas que investem em produtos para as classes C, D e E apresentaram o melhor desempenho financeiro do setor entre 2002 e 2012 (BERNARDES,2014). Os principais responsáveis por este aumento são: as novas políticas públicas de distribuição de renda e a oferta de crédito para compras no varejo por lojas especiaizadas. Isto reflete a compreensão macro da importância deste novo mercado na economia brasileira.Buscando conhecer estes consumidores, nos últimos anos, pesquisas relacionadas tem apontado divergência entre peculiaridades das moradias de interesse social, o ciclo de vida de seus habitantes e os produtos à eles destinados. A dimensão do mobiliário, materiais, acabamentos, inflexibilidade e inadaptabilidade, figuram entre as mais frequentes. (LEPRE; SOARES E NASCIMENTO, 2008). Outro aspecto importante desconsiderado no design de móveis populares é o processo de montagem e desmontagem destes produtos. Sua relevância deve-se principalmente a mobilidade desta população devido ao déficit habitacional brasileiro. Segundo o IPEA (2012), este atinge 73,6% das famílias que recebem até 03 (três) salários mínimos mensais.
Este artigo tem como objetivo registrar a trajetória da designer de moda Gabriela Mazepa, que por meio de sua experiência e formação, tornou-se uma das pioneiras no Brasil a criar, produzir e estimular o uso de roupas dentro de uma perspectiva para uma moda mais sustentável. Sua vasta atuação abrange desde a produção industrial, aos projetos individuais ressignificando peças de roupas exclusivas, tanto no Brasil como em outros países como França, Inglaterra e Sri Lanka. A estilista criou a marca Re-roupa e difunde novas práticas em relação à moda, fazendo e ensinando a fazer, transformando roupas não mais valorizadas em produtos que se tornem objeto de desejo novamente. Cria moda levando em conta os três principais aspectos da sustentabilidade: sociais, econômicos e ambientais. Para garantir um registro coerente e relevante foram coletados dados por meio de revisão da literatura, publicações na web e entrevista com a própria profissional.
