The present study concludes that modifications on the titanium implant surfaces roughness may promote differences in the morphology of bone marrow stromal cells. Nevertheless, in this microenvironment, no interference in the adhesion phenomenon was noted.
A perda óssea é um fenômeno multifatorial que pode inviabilizar o tratamento reabilitar no paciente edêntulo. Dentre as modalidades de tratamento disponíveis está a utilização do enxerto autógeno. O objetivo do presente estudo é avaliar, por meio de uma revisão de literatura, a quantidade de ganho ósseo vertical e horizontal promovida utilizando enxertos ósseos do tipo autógeno em bloco por meio da técnica SBB quando comparado com o enxerto ósseo do tipo inlay. Nesta revisão de literatura foi realizada uma busca nas principais bases de dados da saúde PUBMED e LILACS, buscando artigos publicados em inglês nos últimos 15 anos. Após leitura de títulos e resumos foram consideráveis elegíveis apenas 4 artigos para leitura de texto completo. Os estudos finais incluídos foram publicados entre os anos de 2009 e 2020, sendo ambos do tipo coorte retrospectivo. Os aspectos avaliados em ambos os artigos foram ganho ósseo vertical e/ou horizontal utilizando a técnica de Khoury e a técnica Inlay. Entre os 4 estudos incluídos, 2 se relacionam com a técnica de Khoury e a média ganho ósseo vertical e horizontal respectivamente foi de 3,2mm e 5,2mm e outros dois artigos descreveram a técnica Inlay que resultaram em 4,9mm e 6,67mm. A partir desta revisão de literatura, podemos concluir que a técnica Inlay apresenta resultados melhores de ganho ósseo horizontal, porém quando se deseja ganho ósseo tridimensional, a técnica de Khoury se mostra mais eficaz.
