El síndrome compartimental agudo es una patología con importante morbi-mortalidad, la cual debe sospecharse a la hora de evaluar un paciente afectado por quemadura eléctrica. Su diagnóstico precoz es de suma relevancia para disminuir las secuelas y mejorar el pronóstico. No existe un consenso acerca de las presiones necesarias para generar daño intracompartimental, por lo tanto, su diagnóstico usualmente es clínico. Paciente femenina de 13 años de edad sin antecedentes patológicos conocidos, quien consultó por lesión dérmica consistente con nevus piloso gigante en la zona lumbar.
