A saccular cyst is a mucous-filled dilatation of the laryngeal saccule which can be congenital or acquired. The management of these cysts has changed over the period of time. An adult patient was presented with hoarseness of voice. Videolaryngoscopy showed a well-defined pedunculated mass. Endoscopic-guided excision of the cyst was done. Histopathology showed features of saccular cyst of larynx. Laryngeal saccular cyst should be excised to relieve voice change, respiratory obstruction and for possible carcinomatous change. This article aims at management of saccular cyst along with review of literature.
Neurofibroma of soft palate is a rare tumor with this report being the fourth case reported in English literature. We are reporting this case of isolated neurofibroma of soft palate for its rarity. The mass was excised by intraoral approach without prior tracheostomy. Histopathological examination showed features of neurofibroma with secondary changes.

The tissue interactions between epithelium and mesenchyme are few of the events which result in pathological processes. One such interaction of epithelium and lymphoid tissue may result in lymphoepithelial lesions in the oral cavity. Lymphoepithelial cyst (LEC) is a rare developmental cystic lesion of the oral cavity with various histogenetic implications. Documented cases of LEC of the tonsil are low in number in the literature. We are hereby reporting a case of LEC of the tonsil in a male patient with review of literature.
Metastasis of malignant tumors to the sinonasal area is an infrequent occurrence and usually indicates the late stage of the primary disease. We report a rare case of previously undiagnosed metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma presenting solely as a maxillary sinus lesion. We have also reviewed literature on hepatocellular carcinoma metastasizing to the sinonasal area and discussed the pathogenesis of the possible routes of metastatic spread.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
