We report the observation of multiple permeability peaks for thin ferromagnetic films, in the 10 MHz to 6 GHz range. This behavior is correlated with the presence of perpendicular anisotropy and stripe domains. Because the perpendicular anisotropy is much smaller than the saturation magnetization of the layer, we propose an adaptation of the classical domain mode resonance model to the configuration with oblique magnetization in the stripes.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
