Nausea and vomiting is a common disorder experienced by 50% of pregnant women in the first trimester of pregnancy. Efforts to reduce the symptoms can be with food or drinks containing ginger. Ginger has antiemetic and anxiolytic activity. The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of ginger to decrease nausea and vomiting in pregnant women 0-16 weeks gestation. The type of research design used is quasy Experimental design. The population in this study were all pregnant women 0-16 weeks gestation who experience nausea and vomiting as many as 24 people in the sub-district Puskesmas Wonorejo Ngadiluwih Kediri. The sample in this study 24 people with using cluster random sampling and systematic sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire and rhodes INVR. Analysis of the results using Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test test results obtained p value 0.033 <0.05 then H0 is rejected so that there are differences decrease nausea and vomiting in pregnant women 0-16 weeks gestation who were not given the ginger and ginger. In conclusion the effective administration of ginger powder to decrease nausea and vomiting in pregnant women aged 0-16 weeks. Suggested for health workers to use ginger as a treatment alternative for reducing nausea and vomiting in pregnant women. Bandar Lor Village, Kediri City, was ranked 2nd in stunting problems in toddlers in Kediri City (24.6%). The purpose of this community service is to increase understanding and holistic skills of breastfeeding love for pregnant women in order to increase milk production during childbirth and maintain positive psychology, while for health cadres it is to empower cadres to be able to help pregnant women improve their holistic love of breastfeeding skills and help mothers after giving birth in increasing milk production and exclusive breastfeeding coverage. Community service activities are carried out in 2 meetings with a distance of one week. Each meeting is held for 4 hours. Training was also given to 25 pregnant women and 25 health cadres. Skills provided on self-hypnosis breastfeeding, loving-kindness meditation, mindfulness feeding, acupressure breasfeeding and oxytocin massage. The results from the interview that participants have understood the theory and the given exercises are shown by filling out a questionnaire which results before training knowledge is 20% and during the evaluation it increases to 95% and skill improvement increase to 90%. Suggestions for further community service activities are to empower the community through other complementary activities in order to reduce stunting rates in Indonesia. ABSTRAK Desa Bandar Lor, Kota Kediri, menduduki peringkat 2 masalah stunting pada balita di Kota Kediri (24,6%). Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman dan ketrampilan holistic love breastfeeding pada ibu hamil guna menambah produksi ASI ketika melahirkan serta menjaga kondisi psikologi agar tetap positif, sedangkan untuk kader kesehatan adalah untuk memberdayakan kader agar dapat mendampingi ibu hamil dalam meningkatkan ketrampilan holistic love breastfeeding serta membantu ibu setelah melahirkan dalam meningkatkan produksi ASI dan memenuhi cakupan ASI ekskusif. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan sebanyak 2x pertemuan dengan jarak satu minggu. Setiap pertemuan dilaksanakan selama 4 jam. Pelatihan juga diberikan kepada 25 ibu hamil dan 25 kader kesehatan. Keterampilan yang diberikan tentang self-hypnosis love breasfeeding, loving-kindness meditation, mindfulness feeding, acupressure breastfedding dan pijat oksitosin. Hasil dari dari wawancara bahwa peserta sudah memahami teori dan latihan yang diberikan yang dibuktikan dengan mengisi angket yang mana hasil sebelum pelatihan pengetahuan 20% dan saat evaluasi meningkat menjadi 95% serta peningkatan ketrampilan ≤ 90%. Saran untuk kegiatan pengabmas selanjutnya adalah memberdayakan masyarakat melalui kegiatan komplementer lainnya agar dapat menurunkan angka stunting di Indonesia.
Pain in the labor are predisposition for anxiety, hyperventilation, thus causing oxygen requirements and increased blood pressure. Pain in the labor can be reduced by non- pharmacological methods, one of which is using aromatherapy. Lavender as an aromatherapy effect relaxation, pain relief, reduces anxiety and causes calmness. The purpose of this research was to know the effect of lavender massage aromatherapy to the level of the first stage of labor pain in the active phase of first stage labor. The research design used quasi experiment with pre-test post-test with control group design. The population in this research that the whole maternal active phase of the first stage in BPM Blabak’s Community Health Center Kediri Regency. The research time is June 23 until July 19 sampling techniques. The research instrument used scale observation. Statistical tests in this study using the paired t test.The results showed t value (11,000) ; t table (2,262) and P value (0.000) ; α (0.05), then H0 is rejected, which means there is effect of lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) massage aromatherapy to the pain labor level of the active phase in the first stage of labor. So the conclusion of lavender massage aromatherapy down the level of pain in the active phase of the first stage of labor. The decrease of breast milk production of postpartum mother in the early breast feeding process that become a problem for mother to provide breast milk early on her baby. Based on a preliminary study of the lowest exclusive breastfeeding rate coverage in the Kediri city is at Sukorame Public Health Center. This is because many postpartum mothers who felt less that give their milk formula or food other than breast milk in early lactation. The breast milk production could be stimulated by the use of intervention marmet technique. The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of giving marmet technique to the breast milk production of the postpartum mother. This study is a quasi-experimental research design with post-test only control group design. The population in this study were all post partum mothers who met the inclusion criteria for the study in BPM working area of Sukorame Public Health Center Kediri City. The sampling technique is consecutive sampling with a sample of 26 respondents. Data collection was done by dividing into 2 groups: the experimental group and the control group and to assess the breast milk production using the observation sheet of breast milk production. Data analysis technique used is the Fisher Exact Test Test. The results obtained p value count (0.0074) < = (0.05) then H0 is rejected, meaning that there is the effect of giving marmet technique to the breast milk production. The conclusion of this study was the Marmet technique affects breast milk production of post partum mother. Giving Marmet technique can be applied to help the adequacy of breast milk production. Suggestions researchers is that all medical person can continue to support the improvement of service quality by taking into account maternal postpartum milk production that can impact the breastfeeding process. One of the factors that affect the nutritional status of children is the mother's knowledge. Knowledge is a determinant of attitudes and behavior of the mother. Knowledge required for the application of the provision of food for the nutritional needs so that the nutritional status of children is known. The purpose of this study was analyze the correlation between nutrition knowledge of mothers about nutrition with nutritional status of children aged 1-5 years in Kedawung Village Ngadi health center. The research used cross-sectional method. Total population is 369 children, with proportional sampling techniques and random sampling found 74 respondens and their children as the sample. Data collected by questionnaire and analyzed using the Spearman rank correlation test. The results show respondents have sufficient knowledge about children nutrition is equal to 44.59%. While most respondents children have good nutrition (81.08%). With the Spearman Rank test results obtained ρ = 0,5 with t formula is t value (4,9) ; t table (1.993), then Ho is rejected it means there is a correlation between nutrition knowledge of mothers about nutrition with nutritional status of children aged 1-5 years in Kedawung village Ngadi health center. The conclusion is obtained that the better knowledge of the mother's so nutritional status of children will be close to normal.
