The mangroves' aboveground biomass significantly contributes to the global carbon cycle or economic and ecological values. This makes knowledge about the spatial extent of the mangroves indispensable for policymakers. The sequence of mangroves’ condition range also requires remote sensing data to update the geographical information and synthesize carbon stock in Bengkulu. Therefore, this study aims to create a spatial distrribution of mangroves and evaluate their carbon stock in Bengkulu City using Sentinel-2 imagery. The semi-empirical method uses Sentinel-2 imagery through NDVI to appraise and picture the mangroves' aboveground carbon stock. An allometric equation was used to compute the mangroves' aboveground carbon stock from field measurements. Non-linear regression was used to establish a connection between the NDVI calculated from the Sentinel-2 imagery and the mangroves' aboveground biomass measured in the field, which was subsequently used for aboveground carbon estimation. The results showed that mangroves mapping could derive overall accuracy of 89.09%, where the high-density class existed in 135.12 Ha of total area. It was also discovered that Sentinel-2 imagery could estimate mangroves carbon stock up to 61%. The carbon stock estimation based on the imagery has a value of 16.3992 – 115.134 t C/ha, while that of field survey data ranges from 19.69 to 326.06 t C/ha. These results showed that Sentinel-2B spectral data is functional and has a good chance of being able to predict carbon stock. Urban development has become a problem in many cities, especially in developing countries. The availability of areas for development is needed to deal with rapid population growth and urbanization. The purpose of this study was to identify urban growth models. Due to urban growth planning, the city will be more manageable and organized. From the conclusions of urban modeling identification can provide an idea of what model is appropriate for use in urban growth studies. The results of this urban growth model identification could be a reference in urban growth modeling in better urban planning.
Nowadays, energy sources in the world at the end until now tends to be filled using fossil fuels. It is estimated that the world energy consumption until 2025 is still dominated by fossil fuels, namely oil, natural gas and coal. The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources said that petroleum dominates 54% of energy use in Indonesia. One way to overcome the use of fossil energy sources is to replace them with renewable energy especially photovoltaic. Therefore, this paper presents solar charge system using Buck Converter PID Controller for Spotlight load. Buck Converter with PID Controller is used to produce a smaller and more stable output voltage from solar panels of 14.4 Volts for charging the battery. The PID parameter values ??obtained after performing calculations using the Analytic Tuning method and tuning are Kp = 0.0307, ??Ki = 58.20 and Kd = 0.000263. The expected result of this research is to design and implement a solar charge controller as a producer of electrical energy from environmentally friendly energy.
Abstract WebGIS is a website-based digital mapping which is currently growing rapidly. Utilization of webgis can be used as a mapping of a building location which will later provide information to the public. One of them is as a mapping of BTS locations in Jatinegara sub-district. The BTS mapping is expected to provide public information that can be accessed by the public, especially in the Jatinegara sub-district. The webgis also displays information in the form of a complete BTS address. In developing this webgis system, researchers used the waterfall method and for system design using the Unified Modeling Language (UML). As well as in the test using blackbox testing to find out whether the system developed is in accordance with its uses and functions. From the test results, the webgis that was developed has been running as needed and there are no syntax errors.
