The research conducted was a research on media development in the form of electronic module in mathematics learning using a STEM-Collaborative Project Based Learning model which is believed to improve the mathematical literacy skills of vocational high school students. The test subjects in this study were students of Vocational High School 1 Panji Situbondo where the data analysis technique used in this development research was descriptive analysis techniques. The quantitative data that had been obtained from the Likert scale measurement were converted based on the weighted score that has been determined. This data is quantitative data which were further analyzed by descriptive statistics. The scores obtained from the questionnaire were then converted so that the eligibility percentage was known and the conclusion that the e-module developed was valid, practical and efficient. The benefit that could be obtained from this research was the contribution of thoughts to improve the quality of education, especially in mathematics learning by presenting new insights regarding the preparation of learning tools in the form of e-modules as an alternative to learning media for mathematics to improve the quality of the learning process.
This research aimed to develop Mathematics instructional instruments by using Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Based on Lesson Study for Learning Community (LSLC) on “Sequence and Series” Learning Material for the tenth grade students of vocational school as well as to know its effect on the students’ high-order thinking skill. The method used is mixed methods with concurrent triangulation strategy model namely research and development method with Thiagarajan model combined with quantitative method using non equivalent control group design quasi experimental pretest-posttest. The research subjects were the students of SMKN 1 Panji of Situbondo regency, from which two classes were chosen as research sample, class X Accounting 2 as the control class and class X Accounting 3 as the ex-perimental class. High-order thinking skill is measured by using essay test. Assumption test of normality and homogeneity of variance was tested before analyzing the data. The result of the first test showed that the data were not normally distributed. Therefore, the data were ana-lyzed by using Mann-Whitney analysis. The research results showed that: (1) the instructional instruments resulted is valid, the implementa-tion of the instructional instruments is in practical and effective; (2) the significance value (2-tailed) is 0.000 (p < 0.05), which indicated that the application of learning by using CTL Based on LSLC had a significant effect on the students’ high-order thinking skill.
Serpent dan Twofish merupakan algoritma kriptografi yang menduduki peringkat kedua dan ketiga dalam kompetisi Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui algoritma mana yang lebih unggul dalam proses enkripsi dan dekripsi suatu file, serta keamanan kedua algoritma dalam menahan serangan brute force. Sebagai simulasi, enkripsi dan dekripsi kedua algoritma akan diterapkan pada dataset World Bank Projects and Operations. Sebelum enkripsi, file dataset yang digunakan akan dibagi menjadi beberapa file-file sampel berdasarkan jumlah kolom data. Kemudian file-file sampel yang sudah dienkripsi akan didekripsi dengan serangan brute force. Pada pengujian pertama, untuk kunci 128 bit, kecepatan rata-rata untuk enkripsi dan dekripsi Twofish 35% dan 43% lebih tinggi daripada Serpent. Pada kunci 192 bit, kecepatan rata-rata untuk enkripsi dan dekripsi Twofish 40% dan 48% lebih tinggi daripada Serpent. Pada kunci 256 bit, kecepatan rata-rata untuk enkripsi dan dekripsi Twofish 42% dan 48% lebih tinggi daripada Serpent. Pengujian kedua menunjukkan bahwa kecepatan serangan brute force tidak terpengaruh oleh ukuran kunci. Kecepatan rata- rata serangan brute force pada Twofish 56% lebih tinggi daripada Serpent. Meski dengan perbedaan kecepatan serangan yang tinggi, mendekripsi file yang dienkripsi oleh Twofish tetap memerlukan waktu berabad-abad. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kombinasi kunci yang banyak sekali bahkan pada kunci 128-bit. Secara keseluruhan, Twofish lebih unggul daripada Serpent tanpa mengorbankan sisi keamanan Twofish terhadap serangan brute force.
This research was intended to develop mathematics learning tools on Statistics material on the seventh grade of junior high school through Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics based on Lesson Study for Learning Community and its effect on the students’ creative thinking ability. The method used was the mixed-methods combining qualitative and quantitative researches. Thiagarajan model as the developmental research was taken as the qualitative one. This research consisted of three classes; two experimental classes and one control class. The experimental design used was non-equivalent control group design. In normality test, the data obtained were normally distributed and the data were proved homogeneous based on the homogeneity test, so that it was necessary to do parametric data analysis by using One-Way ANOVA analysis. Based on the results of this research, the conclusions were summed up into: (1) The development of learning tools were categorized to valid, effective and practical, (2) The application of LSLC-based STEM had a significant effect on the students’ creative thinking ability which was indicated by a significance value of 0.000 (p<0,05).
