Malaria Vaccine Development: Previous Success, Current Status and Future Prospects

Abstract: Malaria has led to several cases of death and illness all over the world. About million cases are reported every year. More than 90% of cases are reported in Sub-Saharan Africa. The goal in the development of highly effective and durable vaccines against the human malaria parasites Plasmodium falciparum and P. vivax remains a key priority to the world with great importance. This review is a case study on the development of Malaria Vaccine from the previous success through to current status and future prospect.
