Wrapped ultra‐wide band radar sensor based on resistively loaded bow‐tie antenna for near zone sensing applications

Abstract: This article presents the pulse radiating and imaging performances of a wrapped resistively loaded bow‐tie antenna (WRLBA) which has a reduced aperture size for utilizing near zone sensing applications. The pulse radiating performances of the WRLBA are investigated and evaluated by comparing to those of the nonloaded wrapped bow‐tie antenna (WBA).
