Users' perceptions of topical learning for aiding exploratory video search

Abstract: The present study examines users' perceived need for topical learning within exploratory video searches. A survey that incorporated sample search scenarios was employed. Findings demonstrated various relationships between the perceived need for topical learning and other variables such as topic familiarity, search system, and user confidence for completing searches.
