Abstract:The prevalence of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and hyperuricemia is increasing globally. The steady increase in the number of patients with impaired renal function associated with diabetes mellitus, arterial hypertension, and an increase in life expectancy ultimately leads to significant costs associated with the need to use expensive methods of renal replacement therapy.
