“…The cause of linear arrangement of nevi is still unknown. Some cases may be related to genetic defect, mosaicism or ultraviolet radiation 5–13 . Our case is clearly related to local trauma because it has a history of surgery clinically and showed fibrosis and scar formation under the microscope.…”

Agminated Lentiginosis: Case Report and Review of the Literature

“…The histopathology of otir patient's lesions was characterized by lentiginous hyperpiasia of epidermal melanocytes plus some grouping of melanocytes at the dermoepidermal junction. Grouping of melanocytes has been described in other cases of AL (3,4,13) as well as in other forms of lentiginosis (14). Rarely, nevus cells were present in the nonspeckled areas of speckled lentiginous nevus (3,15).…”
