Abstract: The egg production rate (EPR) of Acartia (Acartiura) clausi was measured between January and December 2008 in Sinop Inner Harbor (southern Black Sea). During the study period, EPR were found to be generally low varying between 2.04±0.43 (20 October) and 19.41±1.73 eggs/female.day (26 March). The mean EPR was recorded 8.62±1.02 eggs/female.day.
