Abstract:Background: This work is based on the development of a wound healing dressing system for diabetic wounds using curcumin and syringic acid. A diabetic wound differs from a normal wound in respect to many pathophysiological changes. Therefore multiple issues like hemostasis, inflammation, cell proliferation and tissue remodeling need to be considered while selecting actives.
