Programs based on community health workers have been successfully employed to address several health problems throughout the world [ 13 - 15 ]. The present study has demonstrated the role of AWWs in achieving more than 70% coverage of DEC drug distribution and more than 68% compliance in all the five TRs in urban areas.…”
