VPPCS: VANET-Based Privacy-Preserving Communication Scheme

Abstract: Over the past years, vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) have been commonly used in intelligent traffic systems. VANET's design encompasses critical features that include autonomy, distributed networking, and rapidly changing topology. The characteristics of VANET and its implementations for road safety have attracted considerable industry and academia interest, particularly in research involving transport systems enhancement that could potentially save lives. Message broadcasting in an open access system, such… Show more

“…[24] proposed an authentication scheme that preloads the list of pseudonym-IDs to the registered vehicle which vehicle uses them to sign and verify messages. Al-shareeda et al [25] proposed VANET-based privacy-preserving communication (VPPCS) scheme to satisfy all requirements of privacy by injecting false information on anonymous communication during signing message process. It is possible for attacker to confirm weather vehicle switch on or not.…”

“…EHR outlines the main point of any e-Health system which are rapidly being used in healthcare reports [13]. Moreover, many types of users such as patients, administrators and application developers use the health information systems and however, these people are having confusion and difficulties in developing as well as using these systems [13,14].…”

“…In recent years, wireless communication technology's rapid advancement has made vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) gain considerable attention from researchers in the public and private sectors, especially those involved in intelligent transportation systems [1][2][3]. Some of the VANET technology goals are to improve transportation safety to help reduce road accidents and improve road traffic management.…”
