Vitamin D Deficiency among Patients Visiting Outpatient Departments in a Tertiary Care Centre: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study

Abstract: Introduction: Vitamin D deficiency is a global health issue affecting billions of people. Its deficiency results in abnormal homeostasis of calcium and phosphorous levels in an individual and results in reduced bone mineral density, which further makes them more prone to develop osteogenic disorders, such as fractures.
