Validation and Extension of the Association Between Potentially Excess Oxygen Exposure and Death in Mechanically Ventilated Children

Abstract: OBJECTIVES: "Cumulative excess oxygen exposure" (CEOE)-previously defined as the mean hourly administered Fio 2 above 0.21 when the corresponding hourly Spo 2 was 95% or above-was previously shown to be associated with mortality.
