“…Collaizi's distinctive process was used to provide rigorous data analysis [5,6]. The process included: (1) familiarizing with the interview transcript to grasp the general ideas of the participants; (2) identifying significant words and phrases from the participants' experiences through highlighting them as essential cues; (3) formulating meanings from the significant statements by repeatedly listening to the audio recording in part and as a whole while reading the transcript; (4) clustering the cues with the same meaning and coding them; (5) developing themes by elaborating on the exhaustive descriptions of the experiences of the ANP diploma trainees; (6) producing the fundamental structure of participants' experiences through condensing exhaustive descriptions and substantiating them with literature; and (7) seeking verification of the results of the analysis through presenting them to the participants.…”

“…This approach proved successful in previous project for developing a diagnostic support tool [14,15]. The final questionnaire contained 53 questions that were stepwise and systematically extracted from interviews using the technique suggested by Colaizzi [17]. Likewise, different subjective experiences were grouped in categories so that the final questionnaire reflected most experiences.…”

“…All interviews were digitally recorded, transcribed and finally analyzed according to the techniques of Colaizzi [17]. Consequently, an inductive system of categories was built up, reflecting the pre-diagnostic phenomena.…”

“…When participants in the learning experience began to show no repetition of new topics, data collection was considered sufficient and was stopped. Wirihana et al (2018) suggested that Colaizzi's phenomenological methodology can be used reliably to understand people's experiences. Each recorded result of the interview was transcribed verbatim.…”
