Usefulness of serum transferrin receptor and serum ferritin in diagnosis of iron deficiency in infancy

Abstract: TfR and TfR:SF showed age-related changes; TfR and TfR:SF appear to be better diagnostic tests for iron deficiency in infants than SF.
