Use Of Virtual Reality In The Education Of Health Workers

Abstract

ÖZÇağın bilgi artışı, bireyin ilgi alanlarında ilerleme isteği ve yeteneklerini geliştirme çabaları, eğitim kurumlarını geleneksel eğitim yöntemlerinin yanı sıra interaktif eğitim yöntemlerinin kullanılması arayışına yönelt-miştir. Günümüz öğrencileri 1980'lerden sonra gelişen dijital medya ile yetişen kuşak olduğu; bu jenerasyonun çok çabuk sıkılan, sabır-sız, sıklıkla geribildirim ve ödül bekleyen bir kuşak olduğu dikkate alındığında simülasyon uygulamalarından biri olan sanal gerçeklik uygulamalarının müfredata dahil edilmesi neredeyse zorunlu hale gelmiştir. Bu derlemede sağlık çalışanlarının eğitiminde sanal gerçeklik uygulamalarının kullanımı hakkında okuyucuların bilgi düzeylerinin arttırılması amaçlanmıştır. ABSTRACTThe increased amount of information and the individuals'desire to advance and develop their skills have forced educational institutions to investigate interactive education techniques in addition to traditional ones. The current students are grown up after the1980s and raised with digital media, and this generation is known to be bored easily and impatient. They have expectations of feedback and awards which also makes the use of virtual reality, as one of the simulation technics in the curriculum almost mandatory. The aim of this review is to increase to level of information on the use of virtual reality in education of health care workers.
