Use of 2‐dimensional speckle‐tracking echocardiography to assess left ventricular systolic function in dogs with systemic inflammatory response syndrome

Abstract: Background Early identification of systolic dysfunction in dogs with systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS) potentially could improve the outcome and decrease mortality.
