Use and Applicability of Ozone Therapy in Clinical Practice in Dentistry: An Integrative Review

Abstract: Ozone is a colorless gas with a characteristic odor present in nature in the form of trivalent oxygen. In 2015, the Federal Council of Dentistry (CFO/Brazil) approved the use of ozone therapy and in 2018 the Ministry of Health (MS/Brazil) approved the application of Ozone Therapy as a Complementary Integrative Practice in the Unified Health System.
