“…A UPLC–TOF–MS–based metabolomics method demonstrated that the dissolution ratio of diol‐type Rb1, Rb3, Rd and their derivatives increased after the combination of PG–OJ ( Ophiopogon japonicus ), whereas that of protopanaxatriol‐type Rg1, F3, and Ro decreased (Li, 2016), indicating that the drug interaction occurred and dissolution of some ginsenosides in ginseng was changed; these events may be the material basis for the synergistic effect and detoxification of PG–OJ. In addition, urine metabonomic studies on rats showed that the combination of PG–OJ played a role in protecting against myocardial injury by regulating the metabolism of purines, amino acids, fat, and energy, providing more evidence for rational drug usage and effective drug development of doxorubicin‐induced myocardial injury in clinical practice.…”
