Update on Tick-Borne Rickettsioses around the World: a Geographic Approach

Abstract: SUMMARY Tick-borne rickettsioses are caused by obligate intracellular bacteria belonging to the spotted fever group of the genus Rickettsia . These zoonoses are among the oldest known vector-borne diseases.
