“…Thermogravimetric analysis demonstrated one‐step thermal degradation for all the triblock copolymers, and the temperatures at 5 wt % weight loss ( T d,5% ) varied from 180 to 220 °C. The thermal degradation profile was consistent with earlier urea‐containing polymers . DSC highlighted two distinct T g s associated with the soft central and hard external blocks, respectively (Table ).…”

“…2‐Isocyanatoethyl methacrylate (2‐ICMA) readily reacts with primary amines to give urea methacrylate monomers in quantitative yield. A modified procedure for the synthesis of urea methacrylate monomers is as follows: 1 equiv. of aniline 10 g (20 wt % in chloroform) was added to a 100‐mL, two‐necked, round‐bottomed flask equipped with a magnetic stir bar, and an addition funnel under nitrogen.…”

“…And more significantly, the hydrophilic nanoparticles obtained by NOBF 4 treatment can readily undergo secondary surface modification due to the weak binding affinity of BF 4 − anions to the particle surface, allowing reversible phase transition. Regarding the application of UCNPs, this method tends to be widely accepted as a facile phase transfer process because of the ultrafast phase transfer speed, moderate reaction situation, and simple operation [ 5 , 12 , 29 , 33 , 34 ].…”

“…Two of the most important UCNP based drug delivery systems are (i) UCNP@porous silica core-shell structure [ 33 , 37 ] and (ii) drug conjugated or absorbed UCNPs. In the first method, drugs can be deposited in the pores of mesoporous silica shell coated onto UCNPs.…”
