Uniaxial tension of drying sieves

Abstract: Although the literature contains numerous studies that have been developed to describe the nonlinear behavior of drying sieves' operation, there are no papers in this which report deeper investigation of the drying sieve behavior when exposed to tension and thermo stabilization. The aim of this paper is to provide insight into the elastoplastic behavior of the thermo stabilized and not stabilized sieves subjected to the tensile force. Within this work both theoretical and experimental investigations were… Show more

“…The manufacturing process itself unfolds according to technological phases and operations that are prescribed by technological procedures. The sieve represents the wires interlace, which is formed by joining the two systems of wires by weaving of the base and weft wires at a right angle, (Bojić et al, 2011;Bojic et al, 2012;Bojić et al, 2013). That is done on the weaving machine shown in Figure 1.…”

“…The sieve represents an intertwined wire, which is formed by weaving of the two sets of wires, namely alternative weaving of the base wire and the weft wire, at a right angle. The base wires are parallel to the motion direction of the sieve (belt) and the weft wires are perpendicular to them [10], [11], [12]. The inner dimensions of the sieve represent the combination of the wire diameters and their distances; the opening between the wires is called the "eyelet".…”
