Abstract: Eyes to be enucleated due to intraocu1ar tumor or absolute glaucoma were used in an ultrasonic investigation of foreign bodies situated retrosclerally, or in the choroid-scleral complex. The echograph findings of four intrachoroidal, five intrascleral and three retroscleral foreign bodies were demonstrated. The foreign bodies were of iron, and were polygonal in shape.
