Abstract: The influence of passing from a microcrystalline to a nanocrystalline structure on the mechanical properties of chromium deposited by magnetron sputtering is studied. The possibility of additional strengthening nanomaterials due to enrichment of grain boundaries by “useful” additives elements is established.
