Abstract:Glutamate-induced excitotoxicity is a wellrecognized cause of neuronal cell death. Nutritional supplementation with Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) has been previously demonstrated to serve neuro-protective effects against glutamate-induced excitotoxicity.
