True mycotic false aneurysm due toaspergillus: Three lesions in two cases and literature review

Abstract: Mycotic infection of the blood vessels is extremely rare and is associated more frequently with the presence of a vascular prosthetic graft. In this article we report three cases of pseudoaneurysm formation due to Aspergillus infection in two kidney transplant recipients receiving kidneys from the same donor. Some considerations and a brief review of the literature and discussion of the existent reported cases are presented.
