Effects of long-term anti-ischemic drug treatment on Na,K-ATPase isoforms in cardiomyopathic hamsters

It has also been shown that trimetazidine interacts with mitochondria by improving cardiac mitochondrial energy metabolism during ischemia (21)(22). In summary, these mechanisms may all contribute to trimetazidine's partial preservation of NKA activity and the selective expression of the α 1 isoform in CMH.…”

Perioperative acute myocardial infarction in patients after non-cardiac surgery in China

“…A meta-analysis that included 27 randomized controlled trials (8244 participants) showed that although more events of cardiac ischemia were observed in participants receiving no treatment or placebo, no statistically significant differences were noted in any comparisons between placebo and nitrates. [17] However, nicorandil has a potential dose-dependent protective effect for cardiac ischemia. But we did not distinguish between different nitrates (nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate, nicorandil, etc) in this study.…”
