Recent reporting of socioeconomic health inequalities reveals that these inequalities are pervasive throughout Canadian society for a range of health indicators (Canadian Institute for Health Information 2013). The purpose of this study is to examine whether Canada and the provinces have made progress in reducing socioeconomic inequalities in health and well-being over the past decade.
