Abstract:The article presents data of the reviews, consensus and recommendations on the use of botulinum toxin type A (BTA) in multiple sclerosis (MS) patients with spasticity syndrome. It presents the results of randomized clinical trials that confirm the efficacy and favorable safety profile of dysport in treatment of MS patients. The complex approach to spasticity therapy and rehabilitation in MS is discussed.
