Treatment and monitoring of an immunobullous disease cohort in a single centre in Sydney Australia

Abstract: Treatment for these lesions may be challenging and given their extent and potential for recurrence, surgical options such as excision and curettage are likely unsuitable. More viable treatment options include topicals such as 5-fluorouracil or imiquimod, oral acitretin and photodynamic therapy. Regular monitoring with an experienced dermatologist is warranted given the possibility of similar lesions re-occurring.
