“…To date, no clear evidence for the optimal duration and frequency of ACP exists [ 4 , 18 ]. Previous ACT studies have typically performed interventions from 20–45 minutes duration twice daily [ 3 , 27 ] and mostly in the sitting position.…”

“…Long-term randomized controlled trials using clinical meaningful outcome measures have been suggested for future research [ 3 , 18 ]. However, there may be poor adherence to a study protocol [ 33 ] and dropouts may be a challenge [ 31 ].…”

“…As our patients during the COVID-19 quarantine period had a lot more free time, we speculate that the smart working model or school closure likely resulted in improved compliance to chest physiotherapy. Therefore, quarantine might explain, at least in part, the reduced number of airway infections [26].…”

“…As our patients during the COVID-19 quarantine period had a lot more free time, we speculate that the smart working model or school closure likely resulted in improved compliance to chest physiotherapy. This could represent an additional reason for explaining, at least in part, the reduced number of lung infections [23] .…”
