Cyber–Physical Systems (CPS) connect the physical world (systems, environments, and humans) with the cyber world (software, data, etc.) to intelligently enhance the operational environment they serve. CPS are distributed software and hardware components embedded in the physical world and possibly attached to humans. They offer smart features, such as enhancing and optimizing the reliability, quality, safety, health, security, efficiency, operational costs, sustainability, and maintainability of physical systems. CPS are also very vulnerable to security attacks and criminal activities. In addition, they are very complex and have a direct impact on their environment. Therefore, it is hard to detect and investigate security attacks, while such attacks may have a catastrophic impact on the physical world. As a result, CPS must incorporate security measures in addition to suitable and effective forensics capabilities. When the security measures fail and an attack occurs, it becomes imperative to perform thorough forensics analysis. Adding effective forensics tools and capabilities will support the investigations of incidents. This paper defines the field of CPS forensics and its dimensions: Technical, Organizational, and Legal. Then, it reviews examples of current research efforts in the field and the types of tools and methods they propose for CPS forensics. In addition, it discusses the issues and challenges in the field that need to be addressed by researchers and developers of CPS. The paper then uses the review outcomes to discuss future research directions to address challenges and create a more effective, efficient, and safe forensics tools and for CPS. This discussion aims to create a starting point for researchers where they can identify the gaps and challenges and create suitable solutions through their research in CPS forensics.

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 is having a substantial impact on countries in many fields such as industry structure, human resource needs, production management systems. Transportation is a high-community industry, so it will also be strongly affected by this industrial revolution. The achievements of Industry 4.0 can reshape the nation's transportation systems. That poses challenges for transportation managers to change the operating model as well as the transport-related policies. Building and developing intelligent transport systems (ITS) is attracting considerable attention, research, and investment to serve the development of transportation systems in the world as well as in Vietnam. Vietnam is gradually building Intelligent Governments, Intelligent Cities, and the Intelligent Transportation system will be an essential part of that development and entering the stage of access to the 4.0 industrial revolution, building a smart city applying 4.0 technology to bring convenience, friendliness, and safety to people in each city. As a step ahead, the Transport industry gradually realizes its dream of developing intelligent transportation in developed cities like Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The paper presents an overview of the impact of Industry 4.0 on key aspects of the transport sector in general and ITS development strategy in Vietnam. On that basis, state-of-the-art technologies-technology 4.0 are proposed to meet the demands of intelligent transportation development. The paper will show that 4.0 technology is the key to the development of ITS in Vietnam.

Improving the availability and reliability of a fleet of mobile cyber-physical systems as well as the ability to adapt the maintenance planning decisions when facing unexpected events at the fleet level is a major stake faced by the manufacturers and the operators. In the context of this study, the authors propose a reactive multi-agent system model for the fleet maintenance planning of mobile cyber-physical systems. For that purpose, the ANEMONA multi-agent design methodology is used. In this methodology, the agents are modelled and then their organisational and interaction views are described. Numerical experiments are carried out in static and dynamic contexts. In a static context, the proposed multi-agent system is compared with a mathematical programming model to validate the effectiveness of the former in satisfying the fleet's availability and reliability expectations. In a dynamic context, simulated perturbations are used to illustrate the reactivity of the proposed multiagent system. Lastly, an application to rail transport for the maintenance of a fleet of trains at Bombardier Transportation France is proposed. For that purpose, the proposed multi-agent system is integrated in the model layer of a decision support system named 'MainFleet' which is currently under development.
