Transparency in a University Introductory Course Made Simple

Abstract: This chapter per the authors discusses the use of a sociology assignment (Sociology in the News) that can be inserted into any course as a current events project. The authors address how the assignment began, the purpose of the assignment initially, and the changes that have been made over the past five years using TILT (Transparency in Learning and Teaching).
