Toxic Shock Syndrome and Bacterial Superantigens: An Update

Abstract: Toxic shock syndrome (TSS) is an acute onset illness characterized by fever, rash formation, and hypotension that can lead to multiple organ failure and lethal shock, as well as desquamation in patients that recover.
